The butterfly valves of the VFA series are used in heating, cooling and hydraulic distribution systems in general for fluids belonging to group 2 according to the provisions of article 13 of Directive 2014/68/EU (PED), therefore they can not be used as safety valves.
Group 2 includes water, superheated water, steam.
In particular, servo-controlled MDA2./4./5., the VFA valves are used in boiler sequence programming systems. br /> The VFA valves can also be coupled with the MDLx4 (20Nm) + AF24 actuators for valves up to DN100 and with MDLx6 (30Nm) + AF25 for DN125 ÷ 200 valves.
