Heating rooms come in various sizes and types, from large to small and from modern to an older space. Regarding gas detection in boiler rooms, the regulations from the building decree are simple, an explosion caused by an ignition of accumulated gas may not cause the construction of the building to collapse. This can be achieved in various ways, by placing an explosion wall or hatch that allows the pressure of explosion to escape in a controlled manner, a so-called pressure relief is a good example of this.

Such a solution is often difficult in underground heating rooms. We are then dependent on a solution of an equivalent nature. This can be very good gas detection. Gas detection is often relatively easy to apply, is cheap in comparison to the combustion plant and is a very effective solution. By early detection of leaking gas, we can shut off the gas supply and secure the boiler room.

The surface-mounted gas detection installation for heating rooms consists of a compact central unit. 2 pieces of gas detectors for natural gas (CH4) ceiling mounting. A flash siren to be able to signal that there is a gas alarm (optionally an additional signal generator is available). Your installer can advise you on the correct valve in the gas pipe and install it. The OneBox central unit is equipped with a control signal to close the gas valve in the event of a Gas Alarm. Relays are also provided to control the flash / siren.
In the case of a boiler room with a special requirement for explosion-proof equipment, we can also be of service with a customized solution.
